Magic Wand Remote Control - A Guide To The Learning Mode Of The Harry Potter TV Remote

The magic wand remote control is an absolutely amazing invention. It is closest thing you will find to a real magic wand. You can control all the infra-red devices in your home with a simple swish or flick.
The magic is made up of a universal remote chip, motion sensing technology and buttonless design. It is the most scientifically advanced universal remote control on the market. However its buttonless design means that you cannot just type codes straight into it. It is a learning-remote and therefore needs to learn the infra-red
codes from the different devices in your home.
Luckily it's a quick learner.
How to enter the learning mode
Firstly hold the wand in a steady position in one hand with the tip pointing upwards. Then with the index finger of your other hand double tap the criss-cross area. You will then feel four quick pulses. The wand is now in learning mode.
How to transfer the codes from your existing remote
Once in learning mode hold the wand in a horizontal position and point it in the direction of your standard remote control. Then do the gesture that you wish to store for a particular command e.g. flick right. The wand will then pulse rapidly to let you know it is ready to associate a code with that particular gesture.
Whilst the wand is pulsing point your standard remote at the tip of the wand and press the button for the command you wish to store e.g. channel up. The wand will confirm it has stored that code with one big pulse.
How to exit the learning mode
Point the wand straight downwards towards the floor and tap it once on the side over the criss-cross area. The wand will again pulse rapidly 4 times to confirm it has exiting learning mode. It will also automatically exit learning mode after 30 seconds of inactivity.
There are 13 different gestures that you can store as different commands. To see videos of the different commands or to see the Kymera Magic Wand remote control in action then visit http://www.MagicWandRemoteControl.org.
